CONFERENCE VENUE AND HOW TO GET THERE

The conference venue is the theatre “Cinema Grivola” in the city centre of Cogne (AO)

Cogne is a small village and most of the accomodations/restaurants are within walking distance from the city centre and the conference venue. Check the housing section for the distance between hotels and the conference venue. The nearby villages, where some of the hotels are, can be reached by free buses

Car

From the A5 highway, take the exit “Aosta Ovest” (toll road), then follow the signs to Cogne (around 20 km)

Public transport

Cogne can be reached by bus from Aosta

Transport service to the conference

A transport service to Cogne from/to the airports of Milano Malpensa and Torino Caselle will be provided on the day before and after the conference for those who need it. 

26th September: two rides are planned from each airport (Milano Malpensa and Torino Caselle), one around 12:00 and one around 18:00.

1st October: rides for Milano Malpensa and Torino Caselle are planned around 09:00 am (expected travelling time: 2:30-3:00h for Milano Malpensa, 2:00-2:30h for Torino Caselle). 

In order to organize the transport, please let us know by the 4^th September if you plan to use the service, from/to which airport and at what time, by sending an email to 8wcmu@grand-paradis.it .
